I’m heading out tomorrow to join in the celebration of my grandson’s fourth birthday. The day will be hot, but the kid is very cool, so I’m looking forward to spending a couple of days being a Grammy instead of someone whose name she doesn’t always remember.
A friend sent me the link to your blog. I want to thank you. I have been blogging since my daughter was killed last November. My blog has centered around my grief, my life now that I am raising my twin grandchildren, and the changes I am going through in my life without my daughter. I used to be a productive, creative, vibrant woman. I have lost that person along the way. I may not find her again overnight, but you reminded me that I am still in here somewhere. I am not the sum of what I am going through, it doesn’t have to define me.
